Taipa

Many generations ago there was a Māori chef named toaki. You had two wives they worked on the garden/land While the men were hunting and fighting with the other enemy tribe.toaki made a storage pit for each of his wives one named tarawhati and the other was tutatia.Tarawhati was very lazy but on the other hand tutatia was very strong and worked all day and filled up her storage pit with veggies. So if there were some leftovers from picking she would give it all away. Toaki was so pleased with tutatia that he named kaitaia where her storage pit was.
